An article on Yahoo (click here for original) indicates a recent study by the U.S. Department of Labor found that there is a shift in the types of jobs in Urban areas. Service industry types of careers are the focus of the new growth.

Top Careers:

• Nursing
• Accountant
• Medical and Health Services Manager
• Paralegal
• Computer Network Administrator
• Education Administrator

For those with an entrepreneurial bent you might want to cater to these new careers with services or products of your own.  Maybe a restaurant across from the hospital with a medical themed menu or a hot and quick menu for those on the run.  Figure out what the need is in the urban area and then find a solution, your answer may make you richer in both a monetary sense and in a physical sense of being your own boss.
